Welcome to plondofoundation.org (the "Site"), operated by Plondo Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 81-3596129). By using the Site or making a donation, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. The Foundation and our mission
Plondo Foundation works to ensure every child in northeast Louisiana, and beyond, enjoys the basic needs in life: shelter, food, and water. Content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes.
2. Donations
Donations are voluntary and, unless expressly stated otherwise, non-refundable. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; you are responsible for determining deductibility. Online gifts are capped at $10,000 — for larger gifts, contact [email protected]. Recurring (monthly) donations continue until you cancel them from your account or by emailing us.
3. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site: no unlawful activity, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access, no scraping or automated abuse, and no infringement of others' rights.
5. Intellectual property
The Site's content, logo, and marks are owned by Plondo Foundation or its licensors and may not be used without permission, except as needed to view the Site.
6. Third-party services
We rely on third parties such as Stripe (payments) and Twilio (SMS verification). Your use of those features may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
7. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plondo Foundation is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plondo Foundation from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
